[The ensemble's] grounded portrayals make the stakes of The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat feel real, and the inevitable outcome seem earned; they anchor a film that might otherwise feel too wispy. Go to Full Review Robert Daniels RogerEbert.com Aug 23, 2024

The film unravels so quickly that it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly where this initially enjoyable film flew off the rails. Go to Full Review Nell Minow Movie Mom Aug 23, 2024

The story is told told in an unabashedly heartfelt fashion with a screenplay by (under a pseudonym) Gina Prince-Bythewood and director Tina Mabry, putting the melodrama in the context of enduring, unconditional friendship over the decades. Go to Full Review Marissa Hill Shade Studios Jul 30, 2025
The film doesn’t shy away from the raw, messy realities these women face—loss, unfulfilled dreams, and the complexities of love and family. These grounded moments make the story feel authentic and relatable, resonating long after the credits roll. Go to Full Review Rachel Wagner Rachel's Reviews (YouTube) Apr 7, 2025

Especially the ending. I have watched so many movies on streaming platforms where they lack substance and an adequate ending. This movie provides closure and hope, just what is needed. Bravo to the writers, producers, director, and actors. See more Aug 28, 2024 In a time where entertainment lacks sustenance, this movie was beyond nutritious, it tasted AMAZING!
