TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Sep 19, 2026 Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure isn’t as good as the first film, but it is still well done. I especially liked that they brought Terence into the story and allowed him to become such a pivotal part of Tinker Bell’s journey. There is a sweetness to seeing their relationship develop, and it adds a fairy love story to the adventure. I thought the storytelling was strong, and everything was put together well. The screenplay gives the story room to develop while keeping the characters fun and the world feeling unique. It continues to build on the fairy side of Disney in a way that feels creative, colorful, and original without losing the charm that made the first film enjoyable. I would definitely recommend watching this one because it is cute, beautifully animated, and filled with fun characters. It feels full of love, wonder, and imagination. When they talk about faith, trust, and pixie dust, this movie captures what that means. It’s a charming adventure that keeps the magic. The excellent world building from the first movie is put on hold to tell a more focused story involving Tinker Bell and her friend Terence, the pixie-dust keeper. I was disappointed to not see how the fairies prepare for autumn like we saw them prepare for spring in the first movie. Many of the side characters have really small roles in this movie, which does serve the story better, but can be disappointing if they are your favorite. The animation is on par with the first movie, as is the voice acting. If you enjoyed the first movie then this one is worth checking out.
