Dayne R @Dayne_R 2 days ago One of the worst Tyler Perry movies ever made. The script feels out of place, the characters are all a former shell of themselves and it’s just really bad in general. This would have worked in the 2000’s but not now. I do know it’s been filmed in 4 days and it shows. The script was lazily written and very wooden. It’s an absolute dreck that Tyler Perry is still putting slop like this out there. But it was really hard to get past a few things. An man with a history of abuse was not immediately removed from the party. The main dad gives advice to the son trying to be heartfelt but all he says is ... I cheated on your mother over and over and she forgave me. Not teaching that the a woman that comes into the boys life may not be so forgiving and the trauma that comes with cheating. See more Nl S @RT40837790 Sep 21, 2026 I actually liked it, didn’t love it. I found the new generation of kids being brought in was refreshing, but kinda thought focus on them was slightly shallow. I do like the ending of trying to make everything full circle. The movie is a bit geared towards women, but it was still good for me though.
