When making a sequel to a movie, one thing you should do is make sure you say the first film and understand what it did right, and what to improve. The folks who made this either didn't do that, or didn't care. This film flanderizes beloved characters, puts the main protagonist from the first film on the sidelines, and makes everyone look like idiots, to start with. And that's not getting into the downgrade in animation and the trainwreck of a story. I will be reviewing this in full at a later time, but one thing I want to say: FernGully deserves a new lease on life, but this sequel doesn't do the film any favors. This is a disappointing film, a disappointing sequel, a disappointing animated movie... It's just a disappointment. See more 03/08/2021 The first one was my nostalgic movie, I remember watching it but for this one, it kinda sucks coz, Robin Williams is missing on this 2nd movie, and the story kind of degraded. but it was still fun to watch, I feel like a kid again, wooosh!
