Bisquiteen T @RT65021124 Mar 18 Impressed by how pretty much this one dude carried the whole film. Odd that everyone immediately jumped onto the "game can kill us for real" thing since, uh, things that people think are hoaxes these days, but I doubt it would've helped to add a million hours of arguing (Unfriended). I also appreciate that we didn't get some hokey backstory (it's Elizabeth Bathory's ghost!). Keeping it simple really worked here. It's also remarkably easy to keep up with both the chat and the gameplay, which is impressive. The graphics were actually pretty good, even if not really scary. The existentialist theme (what gives you purpose) was well-executed. Big critique: why is he supposed to feel sorry about having followers? Not for having his followers killed, but for having them at all? What is this supposed to critique? And the kid is a total nonsense addition to this nonsense moral philosophy. See more tamanegi @RT30455958 03/09/2024 a really obscure yet well made of a film, with an incredibly original concept of a streamer playing games that can kill. though sometimes i feel like the chat wasn't really that realistic and the glitches were on a bad overlay. and i feel like the horror parts came in a little too quick in the film and almost took away the build up. aside from those. i really liked this movie and i can't wait for the sequel!!! it looks promising See more 10/23/2020 great movie, the ending made me laugh my ass off.
