...the eagerness to frame Mukerji centre-stage– literally in more than one scene– dulls the rest of the enterprise. Go to Full Review
Anuj Kumar The Hindu Feb 25
The socially relevant takedown of the child-trafficking and begging mafia is marred by predictable plot twists, bombast, and antagonists who are less menacing than in previous instalments Go to Full Review
Dipankar Sarkar Upper Stall Feb 17
Though Mardaani 3 cannot match the finesse and polish of Pradeep Sarkar’s direction and Gopi Puthran’s screenplay in the first instalment, it nonetheless stands as a worthy enough addition to the franchise. Go to Full Review

No character is allowed to disrupt Shivani’s centrality. This hierarchy is deliberate, but it also flattens the world the film inhabits. Go to Full Review

[The first half of the film] is followed by another hour and a bit that is nearly just as good, making the film as flawless as a genre film can ever be in terms of both its writing and its crafting. Go to Full Review

It is a film that wants to disturb, provoke and entertain, all at once, even if it occasionally mistakes volume for nuance. Go to Full Review

siddhant Mar 16 Movie spreads false propaganda See more Nisha Feb 3 Go for Rani and the way they have shown about the power of women and kidnapping of little girls... a must 2 watch! See more NITAL T @Nital 1d Great movie from start to finish, do not want to take time to convert to boredom just on spot from start. Rani again delivers her Lioness performance in this Series. What an act from her its pure treat to watch her in the screen. Rest of the cast were also on peak. few portions were here and there but overall its must watch. Ending was rushed little bit, could have taken time to explain properly. Overall great movie. See more Nathan J. @NathanDirector 2d Rating: 6.7/10 ⭐️ I expected a solid installment, but the sheer darkness of this film’s plot totally caught me off guard. What Worked: Żurawski’s cinematography builds a bleak, oppressive atmosphere. Mukerji is a powerhouse, and facing the franchise’s first female villain creates a terrifying dynamic. Through my Methodist faith lens, seeing Shivani act as a relentless shield for the vulnerable deeply resonated with my values on justice and defending the marginalized. The Cuts: Throwing out beggar mafia red herrings meant the narrative momentum completely stalled out; it was just spinning its wheels in the first half. Keeping it spoiler-free, the convoluted medical conspiracy reveal feels like it belongs in a totally different movie. Also, the brutal finale abandons any sense of grace or redemptive justice for vengeance, leaving a sour taste in my mouth. Verdict: A punishing thriller anchored by Mukerji. Watch for dark Indian cinema, but skip if you want a clean procedural. See more Irana gustia S @Petiteblair Feb 6 A must watch! Based on true event happened almost daily in India. Indian people you must be so proud of her. An Actress as big as Rani Mukherji always wants to make Indian women proud and to be seen. Top notch acting as always! Bravo Mardaani! 🫡 See more arvind s @Arvind100 Feb 6 It is just January and we already have two sequels from Hindi cinema, with a third coming out next week. But Mardaani is a franchise that I love. It is a no-nonsense cop story that has a brilliant Rani Mukerji in the lead. Rani Mukerji has always played SSR with utmost conviction. The stories may not be that realistic but her performances definitely are. Unlike the first two movies, Mardaani 3 does not have an intimidating villain. Both, Tahir Raj Bhasin & Vishal Jethwa were such great villains and that is what made Mardaani such a memorable franchise. Janki Bodiwala, Mallika Prasad Prajesh Kashyap & Jisshu U Sengupta co-star. Though there was no need for a third installment, Mardaani 3 is still engaging enough to hold your attention despite the shortcomings in storytelling and lack of intimidating villains.
