Ray C @RT17651982 Mar 14 As a huge fan of Blue Mountain State, this movie sucked. It’s essentially a drawn-out episode of the TV show, which should work, but none of the humor is really here. Instead, they take the raunchiness and vulgarity and crank it up to eleven. The worst part is that there are actually a few good ideas here, but the movie never does anything with them. They bring back characters from earlier seasons only for them to have zero role in the story. Making Larry a coach should’ve been an interesting and funny decision, but they don’t do anything with that either. It just doesn’t feel like the original show. It has a few moments, but overall it’s a huge disappointment. It was raunchy, over the top, college guy fantasy humor but it was enjoyable because it stayed grounded in the themes of D1 football and the impending game that comes with it. Rise of Thadland however had none of that groundedness and instead just tries to constantly one up itself with ridiculous gimmicks before a cliched "fake your own death in an explosion" deus ex machina ending. I wouldn't go so far as to say that "things were just happening" as the plot was at least connected and flowed (hence two stars instead of one) but nevertheless this was not a good movie. See more thiago s @Thiagostone 08/17/2022 Filme legal pra caramba, o roteiro é legal, as cenas são legais pra caramba, a história é legal pra cacete, o elenco é bacaninha, e metade do elenco ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são bacanas, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores, o filme tem um teor sexual muito bom que melhora o filme, a festa para o thad é boa, com tudo isso, eu recomendo esse filme vale a pena assistir.
