The series doesn’t conjure fury so much as a sense of what could have been. Go to Full Review

...this drama pulls off the clever trick of easing viewers into its anger by wrapping it up in the palatable package of a more conventional thriller. The result is one of the year’s bleakest shows — which is also darkly funny and defiantly complex. Go to Full Review

After a conventional start, “Furious” comes to feel alive and delightfully contradictory: at once cerebral and pulpy, compassionate and unhinged. Go to Full Review

Furious is frontloaded with dark content that doesn't typically find its way into entertainment television. Go to Full Review

It’s not so much a thriller as it is a treatise on abuse and how to survive with a sense of justice intact. It’s not for the faint-hearted, but it’s worth it. Go to Full Review

It's a mature series that takes nothing for granted and doesn't treat the viewer as a naive fool who needs enlightenment. It takes us on a dark journey exploring the complexities of victimization...[Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Sandra H @RT93402642 9h The character depth in this show is amazing. The parallels between the two main characters, both victims who are dealing with their trauma in different ways. I haven’t seen a show this good in a long time. The show has so much to say about women living in a male dominated society. This is going to become one of those litmus tests for men, asking what they thought or this show. If they have any empathy they will have liked it and be able to express an understanding of all the powerful messages in the show See more Kerri H @RT567809012908 11h Might be in my list of top shows this year. See more Gaby M @GabyM1 23h The performances are truly amazing! And the writing is even better! See more Benjamin G @BxDxGx 1d I don’t doubt the craftsmanship or acting in this but I think I am tired of watching these types of shows. These characters aren’t just broken, they’re all immature. None of the police staff are able to work together like civil adults, none of the grown ups are able to engage in a healthy relationship, I don’t respect the way any of these people are handling their situations. It reminds of House of Cards where the politician kills people in Season 1 and is then lecturing the audience about morals by Season 3. It reminds of how we’re all supposed to think Breaking Bad is the greatest show in the world when all it’s about is some guy who makes m*th his day job because all he cares about is himself, as if that’s something worth televising. I wish we could all end violence towards women too, but if this is any sort of accurate depiction of what’s satisfying audiences then I don’t know what we’re doing anymore. The budget for these shows would be better spent getting people out of poverty. See more Jessica J @RT12863169 1d The characters are complex and compelling. This is not a story you watch while on your phone or doing the dishes. It demands you watch, that you witness. See more Joseph D @RT50911058 1d Emmy Rossum delivers , per usual.
