It's so annoying what some stupid people did to someone else's art for a sake of boring movie. Total fiction, plus using a great artist's work because of lazy writing *cough* skills, is very distasteful when you realise some talentless twits were trying to cash in off a dead artist's fame.. goes to show though that only true talent and honest work is rewarded well, something that movie will never experience. See more 11/09/2016 Great movie. I originally watched this due to the negative reviews. On the contrary, an intriguing story line that may be synonymous with another film, if only by name. I genuinely was on the edge of my seat the whole time with this one. I don't like giving 5 stars so if there was one slight drawback it was Dr. John Coven. Given the versatility and intensity Lance Henriksen can bring to his characters, I was expecting a little more. Still a great performance. Don't buy into the the lame critics reviews with this one. If you haven't already definitely one for the list. See more 10/16/2008 Hmm.....interesting movie, expected it to have a more complicated plot but it was ok. Having some background on Christianity helped me understand the film better.
