Hell House 2 does not meet the same level of scares as Hell House 1 or the original. The story was not very convincing and just followed up on what happened after the Hell House. Honestly, it was not needed as a sequel, they could have just included it in the original if they had wanted to. The actors were not very good either. Any found footage film that has the main character turning to the camera man saying, "Make sure you film this" looses points in my book.

I don't care for the found footage genre, but I will still watch these sorts of movies from time to time. This sequel is a rehash of some of the material from the first movie. Still, it has a bigger production budget and less motivation to be creatively different from its predecessor.

I really don't understand the low score here. This is another great found footage movie with bone chilling scares and a solid plot. Love the Hell House movies and Stephen Cognetti
