Nate R @greatnate88 4d after seeing this movie, i can only give it 1 star, after the first time i saw it i had to go back and watch it again, then after about half way through the movie i remembered why i could not remember it the first time there is nothing of this movie to remember--- this movie is very forgettable! the whole movie its self was very slow and boring, however this movie could of been so much better then it was, but being of these modern times im really not surprised, this movie is lacking the one thing most all moves are lacking today, that movie companies do not know how to put into their movies, its called ''Heart and love'' that very special thing that makes a movie relatable and enjoyable to the viewing audience! the characters here very flat and lifeless, the action scenes were awful, and the special effects stunk like rotten eggs, i give this movie a pass, if you have not yet seen it take my advice you are not missing anything stick with the original animated version! See more andrew H @andrew512 Aug 3 Mulan is quite literally the most feminist character in Disney history why did you have to remove all the other good qualities of her as well such as i don't know humor, intelligence, courage, etc. just to make room so you could make her more feminist at a certain point you no longer care about anything else including story plot, to mention plot why does Mulan remove the original quality of the Disney classic, and if you aren't following the classic you are most certainly not following 'the ballad of Mulan' an ancient Chinese ballad which has been changed so much to make it American that there is nothing left of its original meaning. They changed the story from a girl who wants to fight for her country and even more for her father to a story where she runs away to fight a shapeshifting phoenix woman.
