The entire film is centered around whether this woman will be able to survive making it out of this gas station while the sniper is playing Call of Duty with her life. Watching this reminded me of the movie Speed. In both of these films exist people who are disgruntled to the point that they have taken rein over the lives of others so they can seek their own personal "retributions". (More importantly is how both films highlight how essential the need is for mental health in society.) The whole time I am at the edge of my seat worried, shouting at the television to run or fight. I thought the placement of the sniper and the mystery of where the gunshots were actually coming from was a great idea. What I find interesting is that the sniper knows everything about Alice, including her infidelity. Did the husband set this up? Could the sniper be her husband? It is not confirmed nor is the sniper’s identification revealed. I enjoyed this film. Very entertaining. NOTH is simply awful, a poorly-written, nonsensical mess with boring, substandard acting and direction. It's a left-wing dream movie. Made a decent movie and decided to insert politics at the end instead of giving us an end that makes sense. I can't ever get the time back that I wasted on that movie.
