"Princesa" is the story of Fernanda, a 19-year-old Brazilian transsexual whose dream is to become a woman, find a husband and lead the life of a "normal" housewife. Fernanda goes to Milan and works as a prostitute to raise money for a sex-change operation. On the streets she is transformed into Princesa - a stylish and alluring figure who makes a lot of money and many friends among the prostitutes and clients.

I love it , so much it broke my to see another Latina like me even though Im Mexican and she is Brazilian to go through these things everything has changed I think the Like Sweden and all these other countries that is illegal to discriminate against lgbt+ people which I love cause we need it.

as a tgirl i felt right at home with this movie. btw Fernanda is a she...!! not a he and she is not maneuvered into prostitution. and Karen does not think she is innocent; for goodness sake. Fernanda likes prostitution.. i guess as a critc of a film that a good critic would refrain from inserting stuff that would show moralistic leanings or outright ignorance? or is that part of being a critic.
