Stephan P @RT18181423 Aug 4 I really enjoyed this movie. It starts like Hello Tomorrow by Jeff Leppards (X minus one), then goes into Logan's Run with some speedster chasing from the planet of Hoth. All things considered, it also works well within the first 35 minutes as there is a heavy sense of unease at the environments that characters are in. See more Jace E @thefilmguy Jul 15 How this movie made me feel in one word: Befuddled. I went into this movie blind, not knowing anything about it except for the poster. The film doesn't start out... bad... but the dialogue is rough and the performances are stiff. Once they leave the main facility, my interest level dropped significantly. The color and setting in the "real world" are so bleak and uninspired. I tolerated the first act, hated the second and mildly enjoyed the third. Ultimately, just a dud of a film. All this dehumanization in their propaganda reminds of so many instances of colonialism that tried to say that some group is less human so its not that bad to take from them. The movie shows different reactions to this. From "its bad but I have a personal stake in continuing it" to finding unexpanded allies that can relate in some way to their struggle.
