Alain E @AlainE 3 days ago Good intentions, but naive script. It starts promisingly with Eric Satie music and the waves behind a boat. A woman is a passenger on the boat looking at the picture of a child. As she lets the wind blow the picture away, she seems intent to jump to the sea next herself. A young man stops her. Later we learn that this close to middle age woman is travelling to the island to work as a prostitute. Her first client is the same young man, who is a recently discharged soldier. They seem to click. There is an unnecessary long sex scene with the young man moving as if he is performing callisthenics. (I don’t know if they used a body double, but the breasts we see in profile do not belong to a woman in her thirties who has given birth). They end up spending the whole day together. The next day she is back at work. Then they keep meeting more times. I gave up at 28:30. See more Read all reviews
