My early forecast is that Seven Havens won’t be the refined Avatar offering we’re used to, but, at the end of the day, it will still be an iteration that ATLA fans will be grateful for—at the very least. Go to Full Review

Much of the show feels like a genuine attempt to correct for the franchise’s previous shortcomings, rebuilding an established universe in a way that’s less cultural appropriation and more cultural appreciation. Go to Full Review

I love that, so far, “Seven Havens” is harboring the core of what made [ATLA] and [TLoK] so great: building around the characters and not the spectacle. Spectacle is cool, but the characters carry the series forward. Go to Full Review

Phenomenal storytelling - Nickelodeon's Avatar series just gets better and better! A must watch for fans of the franchise, and something non-fans should give a shot. Pavi, Nisha, Jae and Karthik are all great characters. Go to Full Review

Till G @RT78915649 1 hr ago A wonderful new chapter in the Avatar universe! It captures the warmth, magic, and spirit of the original series while introducing fresh characters and stories. The music is beautiful, the atmosphere is nostalgic, and the beginning is full of promise. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us. The world of Avatar is in good hands! See more Robbert R @Jayzzzen 1 hr ago I feared this would become another Netflix-style show full of forced diversity and woke messaging, but thankfully, my fears proved unfounded! This is Avatar, not another soulless Netflix production. Disability representation, LGBTQ+ themes, minorities, and racial diversity have always been part of Avatar's DNA. The original The Last Airbender championed feminism, equality, accessibility, and cultural diversity long before these topics became controversial online. The Avatar world has always drawn inspiration from South and East Asian cultures and Arctic Indigenous peoples, not European societies. Complaints about the supposed "lack of white characters" completely miss the point. The new characters feel organic, and representation never overshadows the story. There's no forced agenda here. This is a worthy continuation of the Avatar universe. It feels much closer to Aang than Korra, which makes it all the more special to me! 11/10. Absolutely wonderful! See more Nicole N @LeggyBeasTGirl 1 hr ago I absolutely loved the graphics. It was exceptionally well-designed. See more Hamza S @RT37146202 2 hrs ago so amazing just watched 3 episode last night and give me so much suspense in every episode the animation and i think its the best way to start See more Dylan H @dilly1 2 hrs ago I really really enjoyed the first three episodes I think it has incredible potential and I'm really excited to see where it goes. Its a little sad to see the avatar world we know and love completely changed and the animation is different, however it is utterly stunning nonetheless, Ellora is beautiful and I hope we get to see what the other havens look like later. Im also super glad it's been renewed for 4 seasons so they can properly build a continual narrative - something I think was really lacking in TLOK. It still shares the same tone and character narrative as both the other shows and just seems to have some great potential. Im looking forward to see where this goes See more Wel P @Willder 2 hrs ago I absolutely loved it! The beginning is very promising, and this series reminds me much more of Avatar: The Last Airbender than The Legend of Korra. It brings back that same warmth and charm that takes me straight back to my childhood. I’ve really missed this feeling! The music is phenomenal, perfectly complementing the visuals and making every scene more emotional. It adds to the atmosphere and captures the magic of the Avatar universe. The animation could certainly be better, and I sincerely hope future seasons receive a bigger budget to improve its quality. However, the current animation style has its own charm. In some ways, it feels closer to the Aang era than to Korra, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. Overall, this is a very promising start, and I’m genuinely excited to see where the story goes. I hope the series builds on these strengths and gets the support it deserves. It feels like a wonderful return to the world of Avatar! See more Read all reviews
