Joel H @786Joel 6 days ago I’m just going to spoil it. Near the end of City Under the Sea (a.k.a. War-Gods of the Deep), there is an underwater battle where characters with comically large scuba helmets and crossbows fight other characters with comically large scuba helmets along with rubber-suited gill men who wear seaweed for clothes. Oh, and one of the characters has a chicken inside their helmet. That’s the level of quality you should expect from this movie. And maybe this is on me, but I was expected more of a horror film and was, instead, given a bland family adventure film. City Under the Sea should remain submerged. Quite a few laws of physics are ignored throughout though. See more May 9, 2010 Really really cheesy and pretty much terrible all around. See it. Sort of set in the same 'universe' as Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, as you see the Flying Sub and other similiar tech. However, a weaker film from the original V2TBOFS. There are no 'hostile alien forces', btw. See more Oct 14, 2007 In my honest opinion, this is kick-ass sci-fi. See more Read all reviews
