Blobbo X @Blobbo Jun 30, 2024 Blobbo keep forgetting saw before, accidentally watch again. (Saw movie? What movie?) See more Jun 16, 2021 You may have seen this movie as Giant from Devil's Crag and The Diablo Giant. It's directed by Richard E. Cunha, who also directed She Demons, Missile to the Moon and Frankenstein's Daughter. It tells a story that started way before it became a big deal in the 70s — cattle mutation by alien forces! It stars Buddy Baer — the man who nearly beat Joe Lewis and the brother of Max Bear — as the gigantic Vargas. And even better, it has makeup by Jack Pierce, the same man who did the effects for the Universal Monsters. Just as interesting in light of UFO theories that also became more popular years later, the alien creatures in the film are thought to be demons or gods by the Native Americans that have encountered them for centuries. See more Apr 14, 2018 A dime a dozen in the late '50s, "Giant From The Unknown" follows the basic outline of most classic horror films. The feeling is quite wonderful to this film, and it is quite satisfying to lay back and watch a simple story playing out in front of you. A great movie to throw in the mix of classic movies, and some may even call it a favorite. See more Dec 16, 2015 A centuries-old conquistador returns to life. Yes, you read that correctly. See more Jan 5, 2015 Sexiste, raciste et stupide. See more Dec 10, 2014 Pretty original plot for this sci-fi flick horror type of genre. The movie also builds a sort of suspense fairly well; But, of course, after about 37 minutes, you see the giant and it's all over. I enjoyed this film, but for some reason, Giant from the unknown has never received that much recognition and is sort of forgotten. Also, viewers have dismissed the film for being as very mediocre, but is actually well done, considering it's a B flick. See more Read all reviews
