Aug 11, 2014 "When a decomposing girlfriend is better than no girlfriend at all."--IMDB. A surprisingly suspenseful & well-done film. It comes off 70's-ish & slightly funny, but has some genuinely horrifying moments. Can't say its really a horror/zombie film either even with a reanimated corpse as one of the lead characters lol. Great acting by Cody DeVos, one of the twins & writer, held the film together (kinda reminded me of a young Oliver Reed.) Soundtrack wasn't so bad either (& yes, I heard the music this time, Pamela dear.) See more Jul 22, 2013 It's weird and creepy, but it's also boring! Somehow it all blends together, but it just took a long long time! And there was nothing exciting, scary or romantic about it. See more Jun 22, 2012 WTF? Is everyone reviewing this movie stoned?? I would get as much out of Days of our lives as I did this "movie". Total crap x infinity +1 See more Jun 20, 2012 Crisp, smart, and a surpisingly excellent debut by the Deagol Brothers, an interesting Tennessee film collective. The premise -- a weirdly sweet, indie-tinged, coming-of-age love story -- may been a little hard to take on its own. But with a whole euphony of other, batshit-crazier elements on top of it -- a loser kid + hip older brothers, a melancholy early death, a crushing zombie story -- it becomes a very promising, very lovely little film. See more Mar 23, 2012 Sorry, but it's a terrible film. The plot is seriously lacking, disjointed, and often confusing. The dialogue and acting is so bad I felt embarrassed for the actors. The curious character of Wendy (and the actor portraying her) were the only redeeming factors, but were also unfortunately the smallest part of the movie! BTW, the mystery of how Wendy disappeared, and came to be the living dead, could have been a more explored and integral part of the film without losing the mystique or explaining everything. It definitely would've ramped up the interest and possible quality of the story and execution. Just because it's indie and strange doesn't mean it's good. Big disappointment. See more Oct 30, 2011 A quirky coming of age meets zombie love story. Not only did I really enjoy the movie on its own merits, but the original musical score is awesome! It's not for everyone... But for its intended audience I think it is really, really good. See more Read all reviews
