Phil S @RT29018506 Jul 3, 2023 More intelligent scifi than the drivel made nowadays with all the CGI and bad plots. See more dan b @jbutler53 Dec 3, 2022 its so old its like a comedy I look how much the world has changed See more Blobbo X @Blobbo Mar 6, 2021 Very small Blobbo and friend see on double bill with Giant Claw. Afterwards, silly friend say Giant Claw better. Young blob - with superior taste - prefer this one. (Rating from 6 year old self, not now self.) (Now self still say - meh, pass time on lazy Sunday afternoon, and young Kathryn Grant pretty easy on eyes.) See more Simon T @MovieTart Jun 30, 2020 The usual zero budget nonsense, this time the McGuffin is a strange rock that grows and heats up before exploding. What I love about these schlocky horrors is how s-l-o-w-l-y people move, even when the clock is counting down. There's always just enough time to talk at some length about why x = y. Anyway, there's a lot of library footage of natural disasters to bolster the rudimentary model work, and the acting isn't as bad as in some similar mid-fifties entries, although the chiselled hero is pretty stolid. Instantly forgettable. See more May 16, 2016 The short run time helps this otherwise slow paced forgettable disaster/sci-fi flick. Of course, the word never explodes. The characters are decent, but nothing interesting. The ending is unsatisfying, if only for a more dramatic conclusion.
