However, ex-husband CK Dexter Haven has a different plan. He discovers that Traxy's father, Seth Lord, is about to be exposed in a national tabloid. In exchange for not publishing the story, CK arranges for a reporter and photographer to pose as wedding guests and get an exclusive on the Lord-Kittredge affair. Along the way, one of the most classic screwball comedies is born. Can true love be found if he is a schemer and drinks heavily and she is a bossy and strong-minded?
