The premise is outrageous, involving a living placenta and a character responsible for caring for it. The movie takes that concept so far that I kept wondering what I was watching. The biggest problem is the screenplay. The writing feels disconnected, and instead of turning the absurd premise into clever comedy, it feels like the movie is trying to shock the audience. Absurd movies can work when the humor and storytelling are strong, but I never felt that balance. The acting also made the experience difficult. The performances didn’t provide enough comedic timing or credibility to make the strange concept work. Ultimately, this was a complete miss. The screenplay felt chaotic, the performances didn’t connect, and the concept became more exhausting than amusing.
