Bill T @btreakle 1d “Angel Baby “ This was a film from 1961 starring George Hamilton and Burt Reynolds. A story of love miracles and deception. The setting is in the southern South and a church. Angel is a young woman lost the use of her voice and one day after being prayed for miraculously got her voice back and this is her story. Meanwhile she’s involved in some sort of love triangle. I think this is one that most people will enjoy it's uh a little cheesy but then it was 1961. It was good for a good laugh and uh I think that most people will enjoy the film. You can tell the filmmakers thought they were making an "important" film, but it mostly comes off as silly and overly self serious. However, you do get the film debut of Burt Reynolds as a local tough. When asked about this movie Burt Reynolds replied, "George Hamilton beat me up in this film. Does that tell you something?"
