The structural missteps do little to diminish the immense pleasure of seeing [Michael Jai] White in motion.

A throwback to 1980s action films, with strong men at the center going up alone against an unambiguously evil foe, "Falcon Rising" is an entertaining film with a thrilling physical performance from Michael Jai White.

"Falcon Rising" is filled with so many action-flick cliches it could serve as a text on how not to do things.

To the movie's detriment, White doesn't get to show us what he can really do until 30 minutes into the story, then again near the end when he takes on three armed baddies.

it is a typical no brainer action flick. I can barely recall the details. That said, if you like these kind of MMA shoot em ups, you will probably like this.

It's not as bloodthirsty as a lot of shows, until the moment comes when it counts! The pace is good and so are the heroes, while the complexity of circumstances and motivations by one who should be good helps close the movie in a way that should make any viewer stop and think.

All you need to know is at a certain point in the movie a character is shot at point blank range bang in the centre of his forehead and another character kneels down next to him to check for a pulse to confirm he's dead.......

Feels like an 80's action movie that is set in the 2010's era.

It was really fun. Good action sequences, the acting was good and its sooooo nice to see Neal McDonough as a good guy for once. Too bad the series planned for this character was never completed.
