If you're going to spend 89 minutes with a wild animal, something about that character should engage or intrigue you. Nothing here does. Go to Full Review

What starts as a predictably enjoyable ride through the hothouse world of suburbia unexpectedly loses steam half way through Suburban Mayhem. Go to Full Review

Wild and out of control, she's rebellion in a mini-skirt. Hell in high heeled boots. Emily Barclay's Katrina is a wonderful invention. Go to Full Review

Geoff T 3h Car crash movie. You want to turn it off but you can’t..Hoping that the main character will get her comeuppance . Not great but because it’s Australian.. watchable See more Dotti I May 1 I remember it from decades ago, and to this day i still remember what a provocative movie it was. The acting is bloody superb. Too underrated. See more 08/21/2019 Great little Aussie movie See more 04/01/2014 Trashy, sexy, hateful. Loved it. See more 06/23/2013 The key problem with this Australian comedy/drama is that its chief protagonist (or should the be antagonist?) is so incredibly unlikable and inaccessible that it's difficult to see why anyone would want to spend time with her, let alone kill for her, especially when you poses the charms of her boyfriend Rusty (a stunning Michael Dorman) who could easily have any other girl. Played by a solid Emily Barclay, the spoilt, manipulative Katrina's only apparent motivation for her tangled web of actions is an apparent incestuous loyalty to her brother (an excellent Laurence Bruels), but this in itself doesn't convince as a justification for the proceedings. Supporting performances are quite fine in this sometimes quirky piece (Anthony Hayes, Robert Morgan, Genevieve Lemon and Steve Bastoni all deliver the goods) but the end result, whilst competently made, is nothing special. See more 06/14/2013 Wow! A lot of hate for a film that I found very cheeky and being tremendously good black humour. I was wondering where Emily Barclay and other members of the talented cast ended up but seeing how panned this film was, perhaps they are hiding under the bed. See more Read all reviews
