Critics Consensus

Tron Legacy boasts dazzling visuals, but its human characters and story get lost amidst its state-of-the-art production design.

There's an undeniable appeal at its core - in its sincere approach to ridiculous concepts, in its resistance toward quipping at its own expense.

Tron: Legacy is a fun popcorn flick if you had the opportunity to catch it on the big screen, but with the digital effects downsized on a DVD format what's good about the movie doesn't emit as much of an effect.

Disney may be looking for a merchandising bonanza with this long-gestating sequel to the groundbreaking 1982 film, but someone in the corporate offices forgot to add any human interest to its action-heavy script.

“Tron: Legacy” isn’t perfect, but it’s the perfect “legacy sequel” (ha); understandable for new viewers and exciting for fans of the original. [Full review in Spanish].

“Tron: Legacy” proves that with so many examples of oppression in fiction and reality, this movie had to come from a special place to be thinner in its spin on an evil leader and his forces than the last season of “Game of Thrones.”

This movie is absolutely amazing. All the way from the special effects to the acting to the soundtrack. All of it is fantastic! There is no reason why this movie should not get 5 stars.

O inicio do filme é bem chato, tem GGI questionável e o universo do filme nunca me interessou, odeio o primeiro, e o vilão é chato.
