Teenage Charley Brewster is a horror-film junkie, so it's no surprise that when a reclusive new neighbor moves next-door, Brewster becomes convinced he's a vampire. Used one of its scenes in my aesthetic edit,so I decided to watch it. It was sooo good and a very good 80s movie. Awsome plot and the camera placement is honestly everything,one of the reason I used on of their scenes in my edit.

Everything about this movie is amazing. Don’t even bother watching the remake (which was complete trash). It’s scary, spooky, funny, and that soundtrack of 80’s bangers makes it even better. 80’s horror classic you will definitely rewatch.

This was the most sexy and cool vampire long before the television show Interview With a Vampire came out. It's a classic eighties film that mixes comedy with horror.

I guess I have to be the one to say it; 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 hasn’t aged terribly well. And no, not the special effects; it’s the story, the acting, and Brad Fiedel’s score that simply feel incredibly dated. Ringing in a big HOWEVER, it’s still stupidly fun. Every shot is exquisitely intentional, and Chris Sarandon dominates every scene in which he appears, as does Hollywood legend Roddy McDowall. Plus, it laid a foundation for the much more memorable 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘉𝘰𝘺𝘴 just two years later, since it proved cool camp could sell. Definitely a once-every-decade watch just to remind us horror comedy/camp lovers where we came from.

Synopsis
