A couple good moments, but otherwise the satire lacked cleverness, surprise, and originality -- a lot of repackaged, worn tropes. See more T D @RT50628479 04/09/2025 Read every negative review, this is what makes this movie hilariously great. It's a funny, witty, comedy, great cast, and it was done very, very well. This movie exposes the biased views in Hollywood, and how the things you see in movies then, and especially movies now, are geared to making you hate people on the conservative side of the political spectrum, when they're just normal people like anyone else, not crazy people who want to restrict your freedom, just good, America loving people who simply don't share the same political beliefs. My favorite bit? The ACLU lawyers. Pure Comedy Gold. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because the bit with Michael Moor- I mean, Michael Moone, getting smacked constantly got a little annoying. Other than that, every bit was hilarious. Kevin Farley rolls with the changing scenes and pacing. Jon Voight's George Washington is unforgettable.
