Torben E @Torben May 17 If you're not smiling while watching this movie...then you're probably dead. Jokes apart, this is an amazing feel-good movie with great actors and fantastic music. It's a love letter to music, love, commitment and...New York City. Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo have amazing chemistry and the supporting cast is a blast too, especially James Corden and Hailee Steinfeld. The musical work is incredible, like one catchy tune after another (I'm still listening to "Tell Me If You Wanna Go Home", while writing this review) and the overall atmosphere is 100% upbeat but never cheesy. Some might think that the end of the film is a bit half-baked but I like to disagree...in my opinion more movies should end like this, leaving the final conclusion of the story to the audience instead of explaining everything. Oh, and don't stop the movie once the end credits begin to roll. She's a very talented songwriter and he's a budding rock/pop star. Her entry to stardom takes a different path that includes a washed up music producer, a big-time rap artist, and some friends.
