BLUE'S BIG CITY ADVENTURE follows Josh (Josh Dela Cruz), who gets the opportunity of a lifetime to audition for Rainbow Puppy's (Brianna Bryan) Broadway musical, and Blue (Traci Paige Johnson) as they skidoo to New York City where they meet new friends and discover the magic of music, dance and following one’s dreams. The entire "Blue's Clues" crew is reunited for this special movie event, with the beloved animated friends and all three hosts--Josh, Steve (Steve Burns) and Joe (Donovan Patton)--together for the first time in the Big Apple.

[Dela Cruz] is spectacular, bringing unbridled charisma to a role that is basically a glorified kindergarten teacher. Hats off to him.

As long as viewers know in advance that children under the age of 10 are the target audience for Blue's Big City Adventure, it's much more enjoyable to watch. It's sweet, sincere, and has some cute musical moments.

Blue’s Big City Adventure offers a splendidly joyful experience for kids with its colorful visuals and upbeat songs, and a heartwarmingly nostalgic time for adults who grew up with the original show.

I never got a compelling sense of Josh’s yearnful dream of being a Broadway star. His one-note ebullient charisma seems better suited for brief TV episodes.

As a result, Blue’s Big City Adventure is a movie aimed at preschoolers that’s also enjoyable for adults, with exciting musical numbers that help break the simple story and explore the street art history of New York City.

A noisy and narratively uninspired film adaptation. With generic music, over-the-top performances, and an artificial visual mix, the film fails to capture the charm of the original format and results in a purely tiresome experience.

Gaining its charm from the over-the-top performances and iffy writing, Blue’s Big City Adventure feels like a great final hurrah for a franchise that began 40 years ago.

Fantastic musical comedy. I can't get half of the songs out of my head. Little kids will enjoy this movie, and honestly I also enjoyed it at the age of 16.

This movie is a god sense of a Blue's Clues movie. So many references of my childhood and I actually started to like Josh. Definitely a 5 out of 5 stars. ☺️🥹
