Aaron J @RT66766329 Apr 5, 2026 If you took the plot of Contract to Kill and plugged in a cast that, you know, tried, you might be able to make something out of this. The idea of Islamic militants working together with a Mexican cartel is interesting enough on its face. Ah, but then you add Seagal. The first fight was done from a chair. This doesn't so much impress you as it sets the tone for the rest of the film. You have Mary Sue Seagal mumbling and yawning his way through the film. (At one point, we are to believe he climbed six flights of stairs. He was out of breath climbing down the six flights later on.) Ten points to Jemma Dallander for enduring a (mercifully brief) nude scene with Seagal. If this film was just Russell Wong and Dallander with no Seagal, it would have been ten times better. The special effects and scenes of Seagal doing things were good for a chuckle, but that was about it. The yellow Camaro also sounded Half Past Dead in a hilarious chase scene. Bad movie, but unintentionally funny. See more William D @Williams0604 Nov 27, 2023 One of the worst movies I have ever seen and has ever been made. See more lars p @LarsP Aug 2, 2022 Why the low scores? Let's face facts: Steven is the BEST ACTOR of ALL TIME! And he knows boxing, aikido, kung fu, karate and a number of other dangerous words! PS: Review may contain traces of irony! See more Mar 20, 2021 Contract to kill is your typical low budget Seagal film. At least the best I can say is Seagal was in the entire film instead of giving us a 10 minute cameo like he’s been doing lately. But the film is pretty much what you expect. One dimensional characters, poor action scenes, bad acting, and a cheesy story. Seagal is just too old to be doing films like this. He needs to pass the torch. Scott Adkins and Frank Grillo are the next low budget action stars. See more Jun 4, 2020 Horrible, a waste of time even for free, much better action movies to watch. Seagall has become a bad joke. He could never act but now he is aging and gaining weight and still a terrible actor. Movie makers should use this money to try out new actors. See more Read all reviews
