On paper it's all over the place, except that's rather the point; every detour turns out to be connected to the others. Go to Full Review

Katie T Sep 30, 2026 Another captivating and emotional love letter to the nature of Texas from Fin and Fur Films. Educational, inspiring, enchanting, I could go on. It’s not just a story of rivers, it’s a story of survival, courage, determination and love. Mountain lions, wild turkeys, and alligator snapping turtles abound, and the rivers they depend on prove more vital and worth protecting than ever before. See more Mallory C @MalloryC Oct 2, 2026 I would call this a triumph. It's spectacular. The footage is truly extraordinary. From extreme underwater close-ups and nightvision in the most remote wilderness to escarpment chase scenes and dances of courtship, this documentary honors nature and its creatures with a simultaneous balance of reverence and intimacy that left me feeling full of wonder and peace. There is a call to action woven in, and thanks to the calm narration of Mr. Hawke, the sublime score from Noah Sorota (and performed by my hometown of Dallas's Chamber Symphony), and the excellent writing of director Ben Masters, it is a call anyone who sees the film will want to heed. Here's to the defense and protection of all rivers, the veins of earth, and their springs, the fountains of life. See more N Y @N.YoBiz Oct 2, 2026 Yes, breathtakingly beautiful - but also makes a moving case for taking real action to regulate water use and remove excessive dams. And yes, the mountain lions are awesome, but it takes a great filmmaker to make river mussels and wild turkeys equally enthralling. Don't miss it - you will be awe struck and inspired! See more Heather J @RT14994997 Oct 2, 2026 Absolutely breathtaking! 🌊❤️ Deep in the Heart of Texas: Part Two – Texas Rivers is absolutely stunning. I was completely captivated from beginning to end. The aerial photography is incredible—you get to see the Texas landscape and its rivers in a way that is both beautiful and awe-inspiring. And the underwater photography is just as remarkable. Seeing what exists beneath the surface of these Texas rivers was fascinating and truly gave me a whole new appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our state. The cinematography is simply gorgeous. Every shot feels intentional and beautifully captures the wild, peaceful, and sometimes unexpected side of Texas. It’s a reminder that there is so much natural beauty here that many of us never get the opportunity to see. This is more than a documentary—it’s a celebration of Texas. The combination of the storytelling, aerial views, underwater footage, and breathtaking scenery makes it something I would absolutely recommend seeing on the big s See more Roy L @royfiii Oct 2, 2026 Somehow Ben and Fin & Fur keep surpassing their previous films. I am amazed at the impossible footage they get of our super secretive wildlife species. My heroes!
