This early slasher movie and somewhat Psycho rip-off is also an artful and unnerving gothic horror picture in its own right. [Blu-ray]

Taken as a whole, the sinister and accomplished The House That Screamed is something of a classic of European horror.

A sapphic nightmare. The movie is dripping with lesbian undertones and it has a very unique theme. Tons of taboos. Shockingly good horror film.
