Critics Consensus

Crude, rude, and trying just a little too hard to be edgy, Idiots leaves a sour aftertaste but will satisfy those yearning for a pugnacious comedy full of inspired yucks.

After watching Mason Thames soar as the hero in a number of films, it’s a blast watching him take a drastic turn into far more twisted territory.

Likable leads and silly stoner humor make for agreeable comedy, if you don’t think about it that hard.

Rather than fully relying on its characters’ behavior to set up laughs, the film resorts to contrived situations and outcomes that are never funnier than when Mark suddenly falls down, goes boom.

Despite some misgivings about story structure and the dark humour, O’Shea Jackson Jr and Dave Franco make a great odd-couple pairing. Their screaming matches are the most entertaining part of the entire film...

Finally watched Idiots and it was fun. It was funny. Mason Thames is always great in his roles. He never disappoints. Dave Franco and O'Shea Jackson are hilarious and great together. Seeing Mason play a psychopath is a fun time and he kills it. Dave plays a drug addict who takes on a job to take a kid to rehab along with O'Shea as Christian man trying to do good and find his place. overall, I had a great time. I watched anything with Mason Thames in it.

I like how it’s so caught off guard and grungy and more drug use and more real in the cinematography was amazing
