It avoids the flaws of its potential poor "science", as it doesn't really actually explain it. At the end of the day, its fiction. I didn't really paya attention to the moon stuff. I just enjoyed the thriller part of it all with a tiny flair or sci-fi blended in. Characters: Good, if somewhat shallow. Plot: I am sure it could be hole-poked if studied, but why bother it was entertaining as hell. Cinematography: Loved it. Perfect blend I think it would have been better as a series. I hate series that could have been a better film, but in this case.... Could have been a series. I think, if it has been a series, they would be better off tightening the "science" up. Oh, the obsessed workaholic dad-cop trope is quite annoying, but clearly important to the plot.
