Robert P @Superbad Sep 20, 2026 Jessabelle= a 1.5 star movie! See more B P @Bradster69 Sep 6, 2026 Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more The W @TheWagners Jul 5, 2026 It's about a girl in a wheelchair, oh and ghosts follow her. What a silly movie, it takes itself too seriously when it's not even scary. A twist at the end showed that she was possessed? The legs are still effed up what's the ghost gonna do? Why didn't the ghost choose someone, oh I don't know, mobile! Bad movie bad ending bad everything. See more Samantha L. @Samantha.Henry.Diva Jun 9, 2026 It’s an interesting concept with a great climax twist but the storytelling of the film is a bit choppy and disconnected See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jan 6, 2026 Jessabelle is a serviceable horror-thriller that sits firmly in the middle ground. It isn’t outright bad, but it never rises above being just okay. The film checks the expected genre boxes and keeps you mildly engaged, yet it relies more on familiar beats than on telling a truly compelling story. The screenplay is its biggest weakness. It often pulls you in with intrigue, only to derail itself moments later by shifting focus or introducing ideas that don’t fully connect. While some films benefit from breaking structure, Jessabelle plays it too safe, resulting in a story that feels inconsistent rather than bold. You’re frequently left wondering what just happened or why the narrative suddenly veered in a different direction. There are effective moments and a few solid suspense beats, but the lack of cohesion prevents the film from fully investing the audience. Ultimately, Jessabelle is watchable once but forgettable, and not something that invites a rewatch.
