His heart recently broken, plastic surgeon Danny Maccabee (Adam Sandler) pretends to be married so he can enjoy future dates with no strings attached. His web of lies works, but when he meets Palmer (Brooklyn Decker) -- the gal of his dreams -- she resists involvement. Instead of coming clean, Danny enlists Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), his assistant, to pose as his soon-to-be-ex-wife. Instead of solving Danny's problems, the lies create more trouble.

Critics Consensus

Just Go With It may be slightly better than some entries in the recently dire rom-com genre, but that's far from a recommendation.

Jennifer Aniston has starred in so many lame romantic comedies that she's become an industry punch line, but drop her into an Adam Sandler movie and she comes off like Katharine Hepburn.

The central conceit serves the new version well enough, despite the filmmakers' regrettable addition of sundry idiotic distractions.

An egregiously unfunny enterprise that seem less crafted than extruded through the great product-mill that is Hollywood at its most homogenized and soulless.

Great movie with so many memorable scenes. Dave Matthews is hilarious in his scenes. Nick Swardson's best movie by far and Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are fun together. I have seen this movie over 25 times and I never get sick of it.

The film strikes the absolute sweet spot of laugh-out-loud physical comedy, razor-sharp banter, and pure feel-good energy. Every supporting cast member brings their A-game, delivering endlessly quotable lines and scene-stealing moments that make the entire ride hit non-stop. Pair that high-stakes hilarious energy with stunning tropical scenery and a soundtrack that instantly puts you in a good mood, and you have an absolute powerhouse of a comedy. Infinite rewatchability and non-stop laughs make this an undeniable 5-star crowd-pleaser.

I cannot believe the low score this movie has here. Such a funny light comedy. Have watched 100 times and it always hits the spot ! Totally worth it.

When it comes to outrageous comedy and absolutely crazy shenanigans, JUST GO WITH IT definitely goes with the flow, and the overall chemistry between Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston literally makes this comedy a definite must see.

Come on its an Adam Sandler film. If you're expecting a moving storyline with a deeper message embedded you're just an idiot. The plot is amusing and the characters are pretty funny. Not to mention Adam Sandler's hot girlfriend in the movie. Fun watch
