City hairdresser Emily Woodrow (Tangi Miller) finds the answer to her financial problems when she stumbles upon a chest brimming with gold. Although she and her friends quickly go from rags to riches, they discover that the gold belongs to someone else: an evil leprechaun (Warwick Davis) who has returned from hell to claim his treasure. Speaking in riddles and rhymes, the demon stalks his victims with ruthless determination -- and scores some excellent pot along the way.

Somehow boring, and more offensive...as a person of color and as a movie-watcher.

One of the best films in the franchise, which is one of the nastiest compliments you could pay a movie.

Just our bad 4-leaf-clover luck--another "Leprechaun" horror flick.

Basically Warwick Davis swan song as the title antagonist. There is some fun to be had (both intentional and unintentional) and better than the last film but this is an stale direct to DVD slasher film that doesn’t feel like a leprechaun movie

I appreciate that they tried to add some origin story for the leprechaun but why has the leprechaun stopped talking in rhyme? I’ve really got to stop questioning what’s going on in these films. It’s a little entertaining, not as well written as the previous film. I could be the second best leprechaun sequel purely for trash entertainment. But it’s still bad and far too slow. What’s it with the page turn transitions? I didn’t like the editing. The acting is below average. What’s up ninjas? The lowrider scene was actually funny as it was so stupid Much as these films are not good, I do appreciate the cinematography is never bad and the sound design and music is consistently acceptable. Anyway this one is too boring and the few good moments are too few to make it worthy of any time.

Bad movie, but funny and you’ll like it if you like the leprechaun franchise
