...where shock, violence and disgust are presented as heroic responses to the status quo, and where revenge is an attitude born out of present sociopolitical iniquities.

Though it's not the strongest of the series overall, Baby Cart To Hades will appeal to fans of the action side of the genre, and its otherwise simple narrative presents more moral complexity than one might expect.

The action is excellent and nearly non-stop. Ogami Itto whirls the Katana and Naginata as nimbly as a marching band baton girl.

Are there really such ratings as 11 out of 10's? Long Wolf and a Cub: Baby Cart in the River Styx is a Better than Part 1 in superior fashion. This is the G.O.A.T. Conversation to sequels in global film making! A Work Of Art in deed! I through Sword of Vengeance was amazing but WOW in creativity in every way possible! Musical instruments take a bigger star in the forefront of this Legendary comicbook Adaptation. Disclaimer: Long Wolf and Cub is not for kids, don’t let the baby fool you. View discretion is adviced.

Epic entry in the franchise that finds Lone Wolf and Cub taking on a trio of female assassins while seeking out their latest target, the maker of a rare indigo dye. Tomisaburo Wakayama remains brilliant as Itto Ogami, the determined assassin seeks vengeance for his wife, and his son Daigoro (an effective Akihiro Tomikawa) gets in on the action with the coolest baby cart ever (unless your on the receiving end of its traps). Behind the camera, Kenji Misumi crafts another epic and brutal film, as Itto remains determined in his mission, even to the point of death. The action is epic as well, especially the final battle in the desert. All in all, the quintessential "Lone Wolf & Cub" film.

I almost took half a star off for the weird baby doll hand thing, but it will always be remembered fondly

Opulent samurai drama, action, blood and gore. It's so over the top that I expect there to be a cult following. Saw it on TCM and HBO.
