Shane T @RT55822559 Sep 5, 2026 Great until they gave up on the ending. Basically the snake parable except dummer See more Dragan T @Dragant Aug 15, 2026 I wonder if the writers of this script have read Aristotle and whether they had heard of poetic justice. Otherwise, terrific acting, a joy to watch these two magnificent women See more Chris M @RT22346841 Aug 14, 2026 I wanted to like this more than I did, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain do all they can to salvage it but in the end it's just an ok movie. It is a visually grounded production that focuses on two neighbors whose tight sisterly bond quickly unravels following a tragic backyard accident, proving that a standard suspense narrative can provide a solid afternoon of viewing.Anne Hathaway is good as Celine, delivering a highly charismatic performance packed with dark intensity and deep, unpolished vulnerability. She anchors her emotional scenes beautifully, while Jessica Chastain provides brilliant backing as Alice, matching her with a tense and poised composure that keeps the domestic friction interesting. The writing by Sarah Conradt starts out smart, efficiently setting up the suburban surveillance and heavy psychological tension early on. H While the narrative depth feels a bit light, the spectacular, eye popping production design and beautiful period costuming ensure it remains a fair one time watch. See more Timothy P @timop1919 May 4, 2026 Good acting and suspenseful however it's another movie where of men would just believe what their wives tell them instead of treating them as hysterical, horrible things would have been avoided.
