Dec 16, 2015 It angered me that these 4 lesbians were demonised by the US media as "a gang of lesbians" for simply defending themselves against a violent street harasser. They absolutely deserve to have their stories told. Important lessons to be learned about anti-black racism in the media, misoynoir and homophobia to be had here. I'm very proud they were able to showcase to everyone their experiences. A group of women were only trying to protect themselves from a predator. The biased media did not tell the whole story - this is why "Out In The Night" is needed.
