While the movie follows the usual Phineas and Ferb formula, it also builds on those formulas and allows certain relationships to evolve.

Behold, the show's Interesting Character-inator: When killjoy Candace gets to be the center of a story, she's just as brave, resourceful, and funny as her little brothers have always been.

The movie is definitely aimed at kids, but it doesn't talk down to its audience. It's smart, funny and there's even stuff in there the parents will enjoy.

Amid its sharp jokes about Siri, Star Trek and animated shows, it reveals emotional truths on why all of us are special, even a tattletale like Candace.

Dan & Swampy rarely fail to entertain. They still have it even after 5 years. And to consider they're doing a re-boot for two more seasons of the original, beloved show, you just know it's going to be amazingly done after they've cut their teeth on this.
