Critics Consensus

A smooth blend of scares and dark humor, Satanic Hispanics is a well-crafted horror anthology whose occasionally jarring tonal shifts are easy to forgive.

There are several good starting points but little imaginative execution in Satanic Hispanics, a generic horror anthology whose title promises more than its individual creators deliver.

Even if these shorts really don't make much sense together beyond the ethnicity of their creators, it's an interesting showcase for a number of the directors who have more scary features and projects in the works.

Gruesome anthology series that’s built around Latino-infused tales of terror from Latino filmmakers.

The Latino horror anthology, directed by five directors, has various styles and tones, from campy horror to bone-chilling tales. Some segments are more entertaining and unique than others, but the anthology celebrates an untapped market for horror.

I'm a lover of bad horror movies, and this one had some hilarious and amazing moments, but laughable cgi and some horrible repetitive dialogue could not save this one. Big thumbs up to Efren Ramirez for carrying the camp and suaveness. Big thumbs down for a ten minute gay joke in an otherwise funny 15 minute dick joke.

If you grew up in South Texas, you’ll get some very good laughs from this. Make sure you are fluent in Spanglish. The horror & acting are B grade. The cultural anecdotes & humor make it worth a watch.

Eu jurava que a história iria se amarrar as primeiras cenas, mas depois vemos que é uma coletânea de contos que não se ligam. Alguns melhores que outros e o que era tenso no início, virou um pastelão na última parte.
