Critics Consensus

Though an improvement over the second Scary Movie, the laughs are still inconsistent.

The first one was original, the second was still funny, but the third installment is on autopilot.

Just middling funny, with no truly memorable high points and a sum impact that goes poof! before you've left the parking garage.

I have to begrudgingly admit that this is one of the more cohesive Scary Movie films. However, it lacks the sharp observations hidden in the first two movies.

Not everything hits the target and the pop-culture spoofing is over a decade out of date... but he tosses so many of them off with a wink and a grin that they catch you by surprise.

Love the story, so dirty minded even though it's PG-13. SPOILER ALERT: But still kinda mad that Brenda wasn't alive during the rest of the film..

Lazy and repetitive comedy trades clever jokes for a dull and unfunny mess of cheap movie parodies.
