Joel H @786Joel 4 days ago The She-Creature literally ends with a giant question mark on the screen. And I think that’s intentional, because what was this movie? Sure, I survived watching it with the help of Mystery Science Theater 3000, but if it weren’t for that, I would have fallen in a deeper sleep than Andrea Talbott. The plot, the dialogue, and the acting are all so drawn-out and repetitive that feels like this film is trying to hypnotize you. And the creature is almost as ridiculous as the story. Yes, the concept of mysticism is fascinating, but I doubt that even audiences of the time were mesmerized by The She-Creature. See more Kris T @RT26407207 Sep 28, 2026 Very weak movie. Stumbled on it accidently and it was unpleasant accident. Dont waste your time. Sad plot, bad acting just waste of time See more Ted B @Movieaddicted Apr 3, 2025 1.5 stars. There were some pretty good creature films made in the 1950s; this was not one of them. Tom Conway had sunk to a pretty low level to make a living. Even with the cheesy rubber suit creature, this film didn't rise to "cult classic" level. See more Chris M @RT21954632 Oct 13, 2023 This isn't how hypnotism works. Even if reincarnation was possible, you can't just bring a past life in the flesh just through hypnotism. Plus, there was no creature like that lobster woman that ever walked the Earth. But as incredibly dumb it is, it's dumb fun. The lobster woman is a cool Sentai-ish design, long before Sentai though It can drag but it's fun to riff during a bad movie night. You can do way worse than this cheese good bad flick. See more deke p @RT96675217 Jan 22, 2022 Typical 1950s sock. The monster looked like he was made out of seaweed. Never heard of her until I saw it on the movie channel 1.21.2022 See more Jun 9, 2015 There are different types of movies featured on MST3K : shity movies, extreme shit and then there's The She Creature. Campy, bad and low-budget, this is only watchable on MST3K and still. Although, the special effects are surprisingly good for a low budget film. But still, not recommended. See more Read all reviews
