The adventure continues in this "Star Wars" sequel. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) face attack by the Imperial forces and its AT-AT walkers on the ice planet Hoth. While Han and Leia escape in the Millennium Falcon, Luke travels to Dagobah in search of Yoda. Only with the Jedi master's help will Luke survive when the dark side of the Force beckons him into the ultimate duel with Darth Vader (David Prowse).

The Empire strikes Back is the best Star Wars franchise ever. It's one of my top five favorite movies of 1980 (along with The Blues Brothers, Airplane, Caddyshack, and Ordinary People for instance). The epic battle between Mark Hamill versus James Earl Jones will be my all time favorite scene in that movie.

Amazing, beautiful, emotional movie. Perhaps the best sci-fi fantasy film out there now. With Irvin Kershner's directing skills and George Lucas' creativity, this movie makes for a stunning film. Not to mention the movie is home to the greatest plot twist in cinema!
