The human interaction and tension works, how every single member can be sacrificed for the larger good of the humankind. But the acting is uniformly dull, the cast is deadpan, poker-faced and robotic at best. Go to Full Review

There’s beauty in it—Boyle and his team make a near-religious experience of getting up close and personal with the center of our solar system, buoyed by an effervescent score by John Murphy and British techno group Underworld. Go to Full Review

Daniel L 4d Strange movie. Have watched this a few times now in the hope that it will get better with each watch but it doesn't. Sadly it's just like every other space movie where somthing goes wrong and people die. Very slow and not overly entertaining. See more Rym J @RymJeuz Jan 18 Had a really strong start with the space travel and the mystery of Icarus I. I was pretty annoyed by the choice to make the horror scenes all distorted. like, what was the point of that? See more S K Jan 17 Solid visuals, first half of the movie is fairly engaging, final portion was somewhat goofy. And I’m no cosmologist, but I’m thinking if you got anywhere close to the sun, the heat/radiation/gravity would destroy any kind of vehicle. But who knows? See more Brandon K @TheKeizer Dec 15 A surpassingly dramatic and intense space movie, never seen anything like this before. See more ACE F Nov 30 The entire plot falls apart because it depends upon a mission commander going crazy merely because he looks at the sun when they get closer to it, which isn't a thing that can EVER happen to ANYONE. He must also go crazy in a very, very specific way that will destroy his spaceship's mission, despite being surrounded by ~7 other strong & capable people who could stop him. AND THEN the "I went crazy for no reason" guy must hang out for 7 years and then do it all over again to a SECOND ship! See more tm11999 M @tm11999 Nov 28 starts out as armageddon with the bomb being delivered to restart the sun but halfway there the crew gets a distress call from the nostromo that diverts them. they come up against freddy krueger who'll do anything in his power to stop the hobbits from throwing the ring of power into the sun. they end up being able to park snowpiercer and the future is saved.
