Marco L @decatur555 Sep 9, 2026 A heist movie that enjoys stealing your attention This heist comedy entertained me far more than expected. The plot can be confusing and some of its tricks are easy to anticipate, but the movie understands the basic pleasure of a heist story: tell the audience one thing while quietly doing something else. Kurt Russell is a huge part of why it works for me. I have loved watching him since the 1980s, and Crunch Calhoun gives him exactly the kind of relaxed, funny, slightly battered rogue he plays so effortlessly. Matt Dillon, Jay Baruchel and Terence Stamp add plenty of personality, and the whole cast seems to be enjoying the game. Jonathan Sobol borrows heavily from Guy Ritchie, without reaching the same precision, but the light tone, quick pace and constant double-crosses keep things moving. Nothing profound, nothing essential. Just a clever, likable ninety-minute caper that knows exactly where it wants you to look. The twists at the end open the viewer’s eyes to the holes in the plot, and there are missing explanations as to how some fine details the film employs are pulled off. Still, despite these things the film is entertaining and worth the time. See more Claire A @RT53491150 Nov 25, 2025 Really just does not land on any level. Horrible acting, horrible accents (just hire a French/Irish actor) - but nothing would save the writing. I’m quite surprised it even has 46%, don’t waste your time, plenty of fun, well-written capers out there. See more Sharon D @RT17637994 Sep 27, 2025 Movie is great. Absolutely funny. Loved it.
