In this horror story much closer in spirit to Stephen King's novels than to cheap horror films, Ørvedal makes us feel and live with his revenge nightmare that which others (particularly women) have lived and felt. [Full review in Spanish]

Initially slow burning but expertly punctuated with some quite intense scenes and always with a building sense of dread. Ultra atmospheric with stellar performances from the cast, Cox in particular. My wife and I were utterly captivated. Superb.

Saw an interview recently with Stephen King and he said "don't watch it alone". I loved it. It's dark and creepy. One of the best movies I've watched in quite awhile. Should mention I just watched it (Sep 2026) since it was released a decade ago.....it still scares!
