Sure, it manages to make you feel tense and uneasy every second with no release even at the end, so if you like feeling bad and then justifying it afterward as "oh that's what grief is like" (newsflash: no it isn't) then this is the movie for you. What brings ME grief is that this movie, like "Good Boy" had so much potential (acting, directing, premise) but the writing simply failed. There is no resolution, which is fine if you know how to do that right, but there's no back story either. Everything is just hinted. Well, guess what, I could go write something that hints all over the place, have a good director give it a spooky vibe, and call it a brilliant movie. That's not creative or meaningful. Even a couple of lines of plot could have saved it, but it was lazy. If you want to put your soul in an uncomfortable place with no eventual release, this movie is for you. Dread is not enough.
